This is the second title I would work on as a designer. But really I consider it my first. I did a few things on TY 3 but that was mostly a final test to prove my abilities as a designer. Spyro would be my first project that I would work on from day one. Still being a junior I would not be given a system of my own. I would be expected to contribute on everything. Another test on my abilities in a way. I would take part in the designing of every part of the game. This includes combat, progression, levels, powers, enemies and story.
